Grace and Nathaniel Tie the Knot!

I must say that I consider it such a huge privilege and honor to shoot multiple weddings within the same family. It has happened a few times now, and each time it just makes me smile to reconnect with former clients and then to document their brother, sister, or even cousin's wedding day! This is the case with the lovely Grace. I shot her sister's wedding earlier this year, and what seemed like just a few short months later I was in Apex to shoot Grace and Nathaniel's wedding day! I so enjoyed being around this sweet family again, and getting to meet Nathaniel's family too! Grace and Nathaniel had muggy, rainy weather, but it certainly did not affect their spirits or joy over the real reason we were all there!

The ceremony and reception were both held at the historic Apex United Methodist Church in Apex, NC. The church was doing some major construction on the church grounds, and it was difficult not to get any orange fencing in the pictures of the building, but I got one!

Details!

Getting ready!

Grace's sister, Kelly and her mother tag-teamed the lace-up process.

Nathaniel had some shiny dress shoes! Those things look slick!

The handsome groom.

The beautiful bride.

Their first look! I've been so glad to have more brides and grooms than ever choosing to see each other before the ceremony. Love it!

Grace and Kelly

I love the way Grace is looking at Nathaniel in this shot. So sweet!

It's official!

Starting the reception off with some special dances. Bride and Groom first, of course!

Rings, rings, rings.

Ok, so this shot is obviously another ring shot, but it was actually shot on one of the guest's fascinators! Ever since the Royal Wedding back in April, I had been hoping this would catch on at weddings! This was the first one i've seen, and I loved it! :-)

Nathaniel's sweet parents.

Matt and Kelly blowing bubbles to send off the bride and groom!

Grace and Nathaniel, thank you so much for trusting me with your own special day! I loved being there to capture the special moments of your wedding day! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

Thanks too, to Jonathan O'Brien for second shooting for me!
