My, my how fast they grow! This is my dear nephew, Corban! You may remember this set of pictures I took of him when he was just 2 weeks old. He is a precious addition to our family and a great photo subject to boot! This is our little guy's latest portrait session:-)
Feet! This was an accident as Dale (my doggy) stepped into the scene... but I like it! More feet! LOVE that smile:-) Sitting up like a big boy!
Last week I shot baby Reagan's six month pictures. She is so precious, and behaved very well for the shoot! She had such a cute personality to boot! I don't know how it happens, but I think I get the cutest babies to shoot!
I love the faces they are both making in this! Getting your own feet is hard work! NO! It's not nap time yet!
A couple of weeks ago, I got to do something I don't normally get to do with my photography...PLAY! It's always so nice when I just get to shoot and there is no pressure to get it just right or please anyone but myself:-). I was hanging out with my friend Wes and he was kind enough to let me use him as a model. It was a short shoot because of rain, but I wanted to play around with some lighting and I was mulling over some ideas for black and white projects. It didn't all come together just how I planned, but that was the fun of it! I learned a little bit and we had fun just hangin out. Because this shoot wasn't about variety, I won't bore you with a bunch of repetitive shots.. here are just a couple of the ones I was pleased with.
Last week I had the awesome opportunity to shoot what I LOVE shooting..fashion! A co-worker of mine is in school at NC State studying textiles. She designed a collection of dresses for the Art to Wear fashion show, and asked if I would photograph them! Of course I jumped at the opportunity. The location was a home in downtown Raleigh, and it was perfectly suited to Hannah's pieces. They were so unique and colorful! I especially loved the head wear with the blue tulle! I think brides should start going for this look! I would LOVE it! Anyway, here are my favorites:-)
